Meet the Team
Brett Jones, MBA MSN CNP
Nurse Practitioner - Owner
Brett Jones is a board-certified nurse practitioner (CNP) with a focus in substance use disorders of the adult client with or without concurrent mental health disorders.
He is actively seeing substance use patients in Ohio. His passion for treating substance use disorders stems from his years of experience as an emergency department nurse and ultimately a nurse practitioner; previously treating clients in the corrections system and more recently managing acute and chronic substance use clients. Brett possesses a confident, empathetic demeanor and demonstrates exceptional clinical skills leading to consistent, long-term, professional client/provider relationships. Focusing on substance use, he has numerous roles including, but not limited to: clinical practice specialist, medication management specialist, educator, and support person.
In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on the family farm, and traveling with his family.
Cheryl A. Bowden, LCDC II
With over 15 years of experience, I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCDC II) specializing in substance abuse recovery, crisis intervention, and family counseling. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, MI, and MBRP to help individuals achieve lasting recovery. Passionate about mental health advocacy, I also lead groups, workshops, and volunteer with local support communities.
Ellen E. Clark, MS, LCDC,NCACII, LCDCIII, CCMI-M
Ellen E. Clark, MS, LCDC, is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas and Ohio, and a Master’s Level Certified Case Manager Interventionist. With experience in inpatient, outpatient, corrections, and telehealth services, she specializes in addiction recovery, harm reduction, and co-occurring disorders. Passionate about integrity and authentic care, Ellen helps individuals find freedom in recovery while encouraging hope and healing. In her free time, Ellen raises Maine Coon cats. She loves to worship with prophetic dance and flags, enjoys nature's diverse creativity, and cares for her home and acreage.
Ashley Mazza, MA, LPCC, LICDC
Ashley Mazza, MA, LPCC, LICDC, is a licensed mental health and addiction counselor with experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and substance use treatment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rio Grande and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Ashley is certified in trauma counseling and uses evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, and DBT, along with humanistic and interpersonal methods. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including emergency departments and outpatient services.
